The Sweetwell Farm is nestled along the R44 and can be found in-between the Cape Garden Centre and Cavalli Wine Estate. You’ll be greeted by an inviting and friendly atmosphere and find the cutest restaurant interior. It has a beautiful French chic and is popular for the lovely High Tea option.

Whether you enjoy a hearty all-day breakfast or join them for lunch, you won’t be disappointed. They offer a diverse menu that caters to all tastes and includes fish, lamb and pork belly as well as burgers, pizza, wraps, panini, light bites and much more. The restaurant decor is not only inviting but also pre-destined for a classy High Tea session with your friends or family. Their High Tea includes a glass of bubbly on arrival, a selection of sweet and savoury morsels and you can even ask for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options. In front of the restaurant, the children will find a small play area with a jungle gym and swings. Although it’s not a huge playground for kids, it’s still a great way to entertain the little ones during your visit and they can also play hide and seek or explore the farm. Right next to the restaurant, there is also a lovely shop where you can browse through to find crystals, decor items, jewellery and unique gifts.

Your fur friends (dog-friendly) are also welcome and are allowed to join in on the fun.

Our Experience

We enjoyed a very delicious lunch at the Sweetwell Restaurant and were positively surprised about the beautiful decor and lovely charm of this place. We were seated on the outside deck where we could keep an eye on the kids while they were playing at the small playground in front of the restaurant. They enjoyed their kiddies meal and milkshakes while we ordered something from the main menu. Unfortunately, the gift shop was closed on the day of our visit, but we will definitely come back for their High Tea offer and check that out as well.
